GAAC Pilot Survey |
|
As
part of the study into the economic benefits of GA (reported here in April 2002), pilots, aerodrome operators and
local planning authorities are being surveyed. The intention is to "...develop a model of socio-economic activity that
can estimate the total worth of the countrys GA community. The same approach will be
taken to estimate the capacity and activity of the overall network, to determine what
problems, if any, there are with the current geographical distribution of flying sites and
how these relate to the support individual aerodromes receive from their local planning
authorities."
The pilot's survey
questionaire is now available on-line at the GAAC web site and all qualified general
aviation pilots living in the UK who have not already completed the paper based
questionaire are encouraged to complete the on-line version. |
